CSREES Awards Air Quality
Grants
CSREES has awarded $5 million in air quality research, education, and extension grants to 11 universities and the USDA Agricultural Research Service to conduct air quality projects aimed at improving and protecting air resources by reducing agricultural atmospheric emissions.
The objective of the air quality funding opportunity is to develop emission data for agriculture, forest, and range production practices and to improve understanding of odor, gases, and particulate matter (PM) measurement, production, flux, fate, and transport. Abstracts of CSREES-funded air quality proposals are available.
