Post-Award Management Workshop for National Research Initiative 71.1 Improving Food Quality and Value Projects

CSREES continues the Post-Award Management Workshops throughout the agency. The National Research Initiative's (NRI) 71.1, Improving Food Quality and Value Project Directors' meeting was held June 27-28, 2008, at the Earnest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, LA.
The meeting was a networking and scientific information exchange to:

• Report results and accomplishments for NRI 71.1 funded grants;
• Improve understanding of the CSREES grants management process;
• Develop rapport with CSREES national program and grants management staffs; and

• Improve CSREES post-award competitive grants management and federal management of these awards.
