Post-Award Management Workshop for National Research Initiative 71.1 Improving Food Quality and Value Projects

CSREES continues the Post-Award Management Workshops throughout the agency. The National Research Initiative's (NRI) 71.1, Improving Food Quality and Value Project Directors' meeting was held August 7-8, at the Waterfront Center, Room 1410, 800 9th Street, SW, Washington, DC.

The meeting was a networking and scientific information exchange to:

  • report results and accomplishments for NRI 71.1 funded grants;
  • improve understanding of the CSREES grants management process;
  • develop rapport with CSREES national program and grants management staffs;
  • learn more about meeting Congressional requirements mandating timely progress and completion of projects, and the reporting tools associated with this process; and
  • improve CSREES post-award competitive grants management and federal management of these awards.
