Transitioning from ERS4 to NEERS5
The transition guidelines found on this page were developed by an EFNEP Work Group focusing on training for NEERS5. These guidelines can be used as a check list to make sure all bases have been covered. While these are only guidelines, it is up to each state to determine their specific needs and what will work for them. The guidelines here list the required changes and considerations for states to address.
Also found on this page are some sample forms for adults, youth groups, and volunteers. These forms are meant to serve as guidelines only. They show the minimum data collection required in the basic order for data entry. These forms can be checked against your current forms to ensure all of the required changes have been made. Or, these forms can be used as templates to develop your own forms (additional formatting may be required).
In addition to the transition guidelines and sample forms, you will find the new race files that will allow for an easy transition from ERS4 to NEERS5. It is recommended that these files be installed prior to starting your new reporting period.
