Instructions for Upgrading to SRS 4.02

The SRS 4.02 update consists of one file: setup.exe

Download it to a folder on your hard drive. Since many files are named setup.exe, it is suggested that you create a new folder specifically for this download. You may copy it to a floppy or run it directly from the hard drive. Use of a floppy is recommended for archival purposes, and, in some cases, better anti-virus detection.

To apply this update to SRS4:

1. Run SRS Tools and select Install Software Update.
2. Verify the selected Update File Name is setup.exe.
3. Insert the diskette containing setup.exe into floppy drive A: and press Next. (You may use the Browse button to locate it on your hard drive if you are not using a floppy.)
4. Examine the Update screen to verify this is the update for SRS 4.02 dated 5/09/00. Press Next only if this is the correct update.
5. Run SRS4 and go to Update History on the System Administration switchboard. Click the explode button for Update 3 to see a description of the changes made by this update.
