Instructions for Upgrading to ERS 4.03
The most recent ERS 4.03 update files: setup.exe and setup.w02
Download them to a folder on your hard drive. Then copy setup.exe to floppy 1 of 2, and setup.w02 to floppy 2 of 2.
Since these two files must stay together, it is suggested that you create a new folder specifically for downloading them.
Distribute copies of these two files to the units in your state, along with the following instructions:
To apply this update to ERS4:
- Run ERS Tools and select Install Software Update.
- Verify the selected Update File Name is setup.exe.
- Insert the diskette containing setup.exe into floppy drive A: and press Next.
- Examine the Update screen to verify this is the update for ERS 4.03 dated 5/09/00. Press Next only if this is the correct update.
- Insert the second floppy when Setup requests it.
- Run ERS4 and go to Update History on the System Administration switchboard. Click the explode button for Update 4 to see a description of the changes made by this update.
