Rural Connections seeks abstracts on climate change for June edition

The Western Rural Development Center (WRDC) is calling for abstracts for its flagship publication, Rural Connections, which will target climate change in its June edition.  Specifically, the topic will focus on challenges and opportunities facing the rural West relative to climate change and climate change policies. The deadline to submit abstracts is March 4.

The WRDC is not interested in arguments for or against climate change; rather it wants to share the research, community, and economic development activities underway in the region to address currently changing climates and how these changes are bringing economic opportunities and/or challenges to the West’s rural communities.

Contact Betsy Newman, WDRC publications specialist, for more information.
