Agricultural Marketing and Trade Program Information
CSREES supports a wide range of programs that enhance the domestic and international competitiveness of American agriculture, and the competitiveness and sustainability of rural and farm economies. This is achieved by partnering with land-grant and other colleges and universities, and other public and private institutions to advance knowledge and understanding of domestic and international marketing and trade policy and methods.
National program leaders administer multiple federal assistance sources, working closely with land-grant and other partners to guide the development of research, education, and extension activities related to agricultural marketing and trade.
Program leaders also provide liaison and review services to land-grant institutions, and facilitate communication among partners on issues related to marketing and trade through listservs, Web pages, and stimulated intellectual development of agricultural market and trade through participation in associations, committees and working groups.
