Microbes Interagency Working Group (MPIWG)

Microbe Project Interagency working Group (MPIWG) was established under the auspices of the Subcommittee on Biotechnology Research, the Committee on Science, of the National Science Technology Council. MPIWG consists of members from federal agencies. MPIWG works together to promote the microbial science and to coordinate the activities among them to achieve the goal. Ann Lichens–Park, National Program leader, USDA/NIFA serves as the Executive Secretary and Pushpa Kathir, Program Specialist from USDA/NIFA is a member of the Microbe Project working group.
