National Water Quality Program

CSREES has partnered with the National Water Quality Program to address animal waste management. The goal of the CSREES National Water Quality Program is to protect or improve the quality of water resources throughout the United States and its territories through research, education, and extension.

The Program has identified animal waste management as one theme on which to focus these efforts. A CSREES national program leader is the advisor/coordinator of this program.
