What is RSS? |

Health encompasses a broad array of agricultural and human science issues including safety and environmental health, consumer health education, health literacy, and community planning. CSREES and land-grant universities work together to address health issues related to agriculture, community and economic vitality, and family and youth development by forming partnerships with others in the health community at the local, state, and federal levels.

• Nutrition and Health Committee for Planning and Guidance works with CSREES national program leaders to position extension programs for the future.
• Priester National Health Conference highlights programs and research developed and implemented around leading health indicators and focus areas.
• Nutrition and exercise science program assessment identifies exemplary integrated programs at the Land-Grant Universities.
• The W.K. Kellogg Food & Fitness Initiative works with cooperative extension in nine U.S. communities.
• An interactive map provides easy access to names and contact information for family and consumer science administrators across the US and its territories.
• CYFERnet brings together the best children, youth, and family health education resources of all the public land-grant universities across the country.
