Grants.gov Outage Planned for February 6-9, 2010
“Grants.gov is planning to close its site from February 6-9, 2010 to upgrade the system to better enhance performance. The upgrade will result in a complete shut down of Grants.gov meaning applicants will not be able to submit applications to our agency through Grants.gov during this outage. Please plan accordingly in your submissions to avoid problems with the closure.
The National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) has taken into account that this closure will take place and adjusted two program deadline dates. The two programs affected by this outage are the 1890 Institute Teaching, Research and Extension Capacity Building Grants Program and the Organic Agriculture Research and Extension Initiative (OREI). Both of these programs have been extended to February 16, 2010.
