SBIR Grantee Information – Federal Financial Report (SF-425)

SBIR grantees are required to submit an SF-425, Federal Financial Report, to the Awards Management Division (AMD) at awards@nifa.usda.gov within 90 days of the grant termination date.

Please refer to section 25. Award Closeout of the June 2011 SBIR Terms and Conditions for instructions to Close-out your award. These instructions state that the cash management information (lines 10 (a) through 10(C)) is NOT required to be completed on the SF-425 form.  Financial status information (lines 10 (d) through 10 (o)) and line 11, are to be completed on the SF-425 form.

If a deadline extension is needed to complete the form, but not to complete the project, the request should be submitted via a signed letter to the Awards Management Division above. It should include the grant number, requested new due date, and an adequate justification.
