National Research Initiative - Bioactive Food Components for Optimal Health
The consumption of a nutritious diet is important for maintaining long-term health and decreasing the risk for chronic disease. The primary objective of this program is to support research to improve our understanding of the role of foods and their biologically active components in promoting health. Applicants are strongly encouraged to read the entire Program Description section for current priorities and additional information relative to the program of interest.
