Stakeholder input sought for Beginning Farmer and Rancher Development Program (BFRDP)

The 2008 Farm Bill has made available $18 million in fiscal year 2009 to fund a Beginning Farmer and Rancher Development Program (BFRDP) through a competitive grants process administered by NIFA.

NIFA is seeking stakeholder comments from the public in developing and implementing regulation for BFRDP.   Comments must include the reference: NIFA-2008-0003, and must be received by close of business on Friday, November 14, 2008.
