Reporting Web Conference Series

The Reporting Web Conference Series (RWC) is run by NIFA in partnership with Texas A&M University. It is a bi-monthly series that was started in February 2008. This series was identified by NIFA leadership and state partners  as an effective tool for fostering better communication about reporting policies and procedures between NIFA and the Land Grant University system.  The topics covered by the RWC series include:

  • AREERA State Plans of Work
  • Annual Reports of Accomplishments
  • Outcome Reporting
  • Financial Reporting
  • CRIS
  • REEport

Each bi-monthly web conference usually covers two topics—one related to software or report formats and one related to content quality guidance. Half of each conference is reserved for answering questions. Conferences are scheduled for the second Thursday of even months from 2 to 4 p.m. (Eastern).

RWC E-Mail List

A RWC e-mail list will notify interested parties on news, schedules, and other issues relating to the series. Interested parties may subscribe to the list by sending an e-mail message to: lyris@lyris.nifa.usda.gov. Skip your subject line and in the body of your message type: subscribe reportingwc - then hit your send button. Be sure you receive an e-mail confirming your subscription.

Next Reporting Web Conference

Thursday, June 14 from 2-3 pm (Eastern).  Tentative topics are:

    • REEport Update:  Status of Deployment; and Reporting Policy on Grants

To register, send an e-mail with your name, title, and institution to rwc@nifa.usda.gov by June 7, 2012. Also run the system check to ensure you can access the system by this date — attendee support on the day of the conference will be limited. To run the system check, click on the meeting URL as listed below and click on “System Check” in the bottom portion of the page.
