Information System Security
ISTM staff working in Information System
Security protect the confidentiality and
integrity of the communication and data
flowing through and stored on the CSREES
network. This branch of ISTM maintains
this security while providing accessibility
to data used by authorized employees and
the public.
The Information System Security staff
develop information systems security policies
that set the rules of use, guide operations
in secure computing, and provide for disaster
recovery. They perform periodic tests and
scans of the network to verify that it
is secure and provide annual information
system security training for all CSREES
personnel. |
