Information Systems and Technology Management (ISTM) Policy, Planning and Training
The Information Technology Policy, Planning and Training office is the NIFA subunit responsible for leadership and coordination on information and information technology policy issues and for e-government program leadership including business transformation. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- IT strategic and operational planning.
- Capital planning and investment control.
- Enterprise architecture.
- ISTM Policies and Procedures.
- Paperwork Reduction Act implementation.
- Liaison with USDA Office of the Chief Information Officer other federal agencies and NIFA stakeholders.
- Records Management
- IT Training
