Institute of Youth, Family and Community

The Institute of Youth, Family, and Community (YFC) addresses many of the human and community challenges that face the nation. IYFC’s three divisions promote NIFA’s food and agricultural sciences through research, education, and Extension programs to support the socio-economic prosperity of people and communities, develop human and community capital, support the next generation of food and agricultural scientists, provide youth leadership experiences, and ensure families remain strong and healthy.
