Mark is National Program Leader for the Agriculture and Food Research Initiative's Animal Reproduction Program (92320), Animal Growth and Nutrient Utilization Program (92220) and Integrated Solutions for Animal Agriculture Program. He is also NIFAs representative to USDA Multistate Projects S-1020 (Reproductive Performance of Poultry), W-1112 (Reproductive Performance in Domestic Ruminants), W-2171 (Germ Cell and Embryo Development and Manipulation for the Improvement of Livestock), NEAC-002 (Animal Science Advisory Committee), NCCC-210 (Regulation of Adipose Tissue Accretion in Meat-Producing Animals), and NC-1131 (Molecular Mechanisms Regulating Skeletal Muscle Growth and Differentiation).
