Overview:
Richard manages animal manures from confined animal feeding operations to prevent air, soil, water pollution, including alternative treatment technologies and production systems, value-added products, feed management, odor control, economics, and rural community issues.
Richard also works on alternative energy sources from agriculture including anaerobic digestion and feedstock logistics for cellulosic biomass.
