Overview:
Ed Kaleikau is the National Program Leader for plant genomics, genetics and breeding, represents NIFA on the Interagency Working Group on Plant Genomes, the US-EC Task Force on Biotechnology, the National Plant Germplasm Coordinating Committee, and the USDA Biotechnology Working Group; and the Program Contact for the Triticeae Wheat and Barley CAP, Common Bean CAP, Solanaceae Tomato and Potato CAP, the PineRefSeq Conifer Genome CAP, the AFRI Plant Breeding for Agricultural Production Program, the interagency NIFA - DOE Plant Feedstock Genomics for Bioenergy Program, and the eXtension Plant Breeding and Genomics Community of Practice.
